How to prepare, submit, package, and ship your cards to Cleveland Cardz
The Four Steps
Sort & Organize
Group your cards by type (graded, raw, memorabilia) and by selling strategy. Have your cert numbers and card details ready.
Photograph Each Item
Take clear front and back photos. For graded cards, make sure the cert number is legible in the photo.
Submit Online
Use the consignment portal to enter each item's details, upload photos, and sign the digital agreement.
Pack & Ship via USPS
Print your packing slip, pack securely with card sleeves and top loaders, and ship insured via USPS to our facility.
Submitting Bulk Lots (Recommended for Large Quantities)
- Toggle on "Bulk Entry (recommended for large quantities)" on the Item Submissions step to switch to bulk mode.
- Enter the quantity and total estimated value for each card type (raw, graded, comics, memorabilia, etc.). You can also pre-fill an optional year and set/brand to speed up listing several cards from the same release.
- Click "Generate Items" to create an individual record for each card in your lot. Your bulk entries stay saved if you toggle bulk off and back on, so it's easy to generate multiple groups from the same year/set or player.
- After generating, switch bulk mode off to review each item — you can add the player name, cert number, photos, and other details per card. Higher-value cards should always get individual details and photos.
- If you're sending a card that wasn't added during submission, contact us at customersupport@clevelandcardz.com and reference your Batch ID# and we'll add it to your batch on our end.
Packing & Shipping
Packaging Your Cards
- Use penny sleeves for every card (modern only)
- Place raw cards in semi-rigid top loaders for protection
- Use bubble wrap or padding for memorabilia and autographed items
- Fill empty space in the box with packing material to prevent shifting
- Include your printed packing slip inside the package
To speed up the intake process and prevent any delays, please group by like strategies (I.E. Buy-It-Now items, items with reserve prices, auction items, etc.) together and mark them so they're easily identifiable. Feel free to write on the penny sleeve, top loader, team bag, sticky note, or whatever means you have (just do not write directly on the item).
Example: auction cards bundled as PRIORITY, Buy-It-Now cards as BIN, and a reserve card marked with its price — each group labeled so intake can sort it at a glance.
USPS Only — No Exceptions
All packages must be shipped via USPS. No other carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) are accepted. Use insured shipping with tracking (recommended) for your protection.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday Pickup Schedule
We pick up from our facility on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Plan your shipment so it arrives on or before a pickup day for fastest processing. Shipments received on other days will be processed on the next pickup day.
Include Your Packing Slip & Batch ID
Print your packing slip from the confirmation screen and include it in the package. Tape your barcode/batch ID included in your packing sheet to the outside of your box. This helps us quickly identify and process your shipment upon arrival.
Insurance & Tracking
We recommend using insured shipping with tracking. Every item is fully insured from the moment we verify it at our facility until it reaches the buyer. However, items lost or damaged in transit to us are your responsibility until received.
Prohibited Items
Do not ship: unlicensed cards, art cards, sketch cards, heavily counterfeited cards without grading, altered modern cards (1981+), or explicit or offensive content.
